American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Labor Pool (Float Pool) position in Albany, GA, requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment history.

Acute care hospital setting with a 483-bed main campus and 124-bed north campus
-
Labor Pool (Float Pool) position covering Med/Surg units including Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW
-
Day shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 0645
-
Every other weekend required
-
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6; CNAs available with a general ratio of 1:8–1:10

On-call for low census situations
-
Floating is required; must be flexible with changing unit assignments during the shift
-
Telemetry monitoring available across different units
-
Respiratory therapy, pharmacy, OB/Neonatologist, and PICC team available 24/7
-
Ventilator equipment in use includes BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger (used at night only)

EMR system: MEDITECH
-
Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand

Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS; ACLS also listed for float pool coverage

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

At least 1 prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered

Must be flexible and adaptable to changing assignments across multiple units

A valid Driver's License is required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Holiday rotation shared with permanent staff

Floor-specific orientation is provided (16 orientation hours)

Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue
