POSITION OVERVIEW
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of onsite construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to RAM’s quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all onsite construction activities from project start through completion
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Conduct subcontractor and jobsite meetings
- Communicate effectively with owners, clients, and project stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and manage project CPM schedules
- Coordinate and schedule required inspections
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant jobsite
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
- Ground-up grocery store experience required
- Willingness to travel with overnight stays
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and terminology
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical jobsite duties
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Dependable and self-motivated
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 annually
