This position is for an attorney with a demonstrated history of handling litigation cases. The successful candidate will be familiar with Colorado civil procedure and Colorado law. A high level of integrity is a must as well as a willingness to work with a team. This attorney will be required to research legal issues and comply with all legal standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and participate in legal hearings, depositions, and trial.
- Prepare briefs.
- Motion practice and oral argument
- Prepare and participate in mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations.
- Track and bill time.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in civil litigation
- Licensed in Colorado
- Insurance defense experience preferred
- Strong research, writing, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attorneys with licenses in Texas, Utah, Arizona, and Wyoming a plus!
Salary Commensurate with Experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
