Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY) to join our team. The CFY will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients with communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, using standardized assessments, clinical observations, and case history interviews.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines, targeting areas of need such as articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatics.
Document assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as determined by the
Knowledge of principles and practices of speech-language pathology assessment and intervention across the lifespan.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Compassion, empathy, and professionalism in working with individuals with communication disorders.
Commitment to upholding ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
