FirstLight Home Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead our growing home care agency. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who is passionate about operational excellence, team leadership, and community engagement.
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional client care, maintain compliance standards, and support business growth through relationship-building and community outreach.
Pay: $60,000-75,000
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32257
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and support administrative and caregiving staff
- Oversee client intakes, assessments, and care planning
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, licensing, and company regulations
- Monitor operational performance, billing, and revenue goals
- Resolve client and caregiver concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, rehabilitation centers, and community partners
- Represent FirstLight Home Care at networking events and community outreach opportunities
- Support marketing initiatives and referral growth efforts
- Track leads, referrals, and growth metrics using CRM systems
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of leadership or management experience
- Experience managing teams of 5 or more employees
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling platforms, and CRM systems
- Knowledge of home care or healthcare operations preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent management experience
