Our award winning restaurant on the square in downtown Heritage East, a modern upscale East Texas cuisine restaurant, is striving to become one of the top restaurants in the South, and with this growth we are currently seeking to add to our family and immediately fill a Chef/Line Cook position. Our cuisine is extremely creative, and based on 2026 Texas Restaurant Awards "Rising Star" nominee, Cochon 555 and Texas Bucket List's "Best Bite of the Season" winner, and Food Network featured chef Lance McWhorter's roots in East Texas cooking, and is executed in an incredibly fun open kitchen setting.
We are open Tuesday-Sunday with the occasional off day cleaning/prep sessions, or special events, and actual hours/days required are based on your levels of skill, organization, and attention to detail. You will love all that there is to learn in our restaurant, farm to table, whole animal butchery and utilization, fresh pasta and bread program, preservation and fermentation, charcuterie/salumi, molecular gastronomy, sous vide, plating skills, business skills, and so much more.
