As a Kitchen Operations Professional – Closing Shift, you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every order is prepared with accuracy, speed, and the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and teamwork in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
You will be responsible for executing closing operations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and upholding the standards that make Chick-fil-A known for “Remark”able food and service.

Execute all closing procedures and complete required checklists accurately and thoroughly

Prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with Chick-fil-A quality and food safety standards

Maintain knowledge of all menu items, recipes, and procedures

Ensure cleanliness and organization across all kitchen and food preparation areas

Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and inventory rotation

Follow all federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations

Maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanor during high-volume periods

Adhere to all Chick-fil-A Pathway training, food safety procedures, and operational standards

Follow all safety guidelines when operating and cleaning equipment

Maintain proper hygiene and appearance standards

Must maintain a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Falling below this threshold for two consecutive pay periods may result in a wage adjustment

Must be available to work at least one Saturday per pay period

Must be available to work a minimum of four closing shifts per week

No prior restaurant experience required—training provided

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and move efficiently between workstations

Must complete all required Pathway training courses

Must be willing to work both inside and outside the restaurant as needed
