Role Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Dispensing Pharmacist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently dispense prescribed medications to patients
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and review processes prior to shipment
- Utilize accurate tracking techniques for medication dispensing
- Make independent decisions in alignment with established guidelines and procedures
- Support team collaboration and contribute to problem-solving initiatives
- Maintain a strong understanding of departmental and organizational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio
- Eligible to participate in federal prescription programs
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with computer systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume community or mail-order pharmacy setting
