Description
Join UCLA Health as an Accountant IV in Medical Center Financial Services and take on a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of one of the nation's leading health systems. Under the direction of the Senior General Accounting Manager, you will provide high-level technical accounting support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare monthly journal entries for both the University and Medical Center general ledgers.
- Analyze expense variances and process accrual and adjustment entries as needed.
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Support the monthly budget variance reporting process.
- Lead the annual inventory count and valuation.
- Assist with implementation of new systems and tools, accounts payable check writing, and both interim and annual audits.
Salary Range: $86,400 – $184,800 annually
