This job is for Day shift from 10:45AM to about 6:15PM, with the potential to pick up night shifts as they become available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced food service or hospitality environment
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong math skills for accurately handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
