Duties
- Design and develop custom databases within the Ninox platform to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and translate them into scalable database solutions.
- Optimize database performance through effective indexing, query tuning, and system design for scalability.
- Integrate Ninox databases with other systems using APIs, RESTful services, or webhooks to enable seamless data flow.
- Maintain data integrity and security by implementing best practices in database design and user access controls.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows within Ninox to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to existing databases to ensure optimal functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining databases using Ninox or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles, relational databases, and system architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python for automation within Ninox environments.
- Familiarity with front-end development including HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or TypeScript for UI customization.
- Experience working with APIs (RESTful API), web services (SOAP), and integrating cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), version control (GitHub, TFS), CI/CD pipelines, and UML modeling.
- Knowledge of SQL dialects such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL for advanced data querying and manipulation.
- Ability to work within Agile software development frameworks and collaborate effectively in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on system design for scalability and distributed systems architecture.
