We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in accordance with an established Support Plan. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow disabled persons to remain in their homes.
Hours vary by consumer needs and case (7PM-7AM Thursday- Saturday and Sunday-Wednesday). (7Am to 7 PM Thursday- Saturday).
Responsibilities for a provider is to assist individuals in their homes with activities of daily living while also assisting to meet their goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete daily living skills
- Attend medical appointments
- Assistance with bed-bath/repositioning/Dressing
- Changing Pull-ups
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Feeding
- Ostomy Care
- Housekeeping/Laundry/Organizing
- Cooking
- Shopping
- Observation
- Documentation
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects or assist with transfers as required.
Skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Able to engage consumers in conversations
- One year of experience (required)
- High school degree or equivalent (required)
- Current CPR certificate
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check.
