In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance activities across our facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and cleanliness. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Execute mechanical repairs including welding, plumbing, and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate or troubleshoot systems.
- Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain facility aesthetics and appearance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with facilities maintenance projects such as installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems.
- Supervise or assist with subcontractors during specialized repair or renovation projects when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client requests efficiently and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or similar roles with hands-on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and electrical troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in overseeing maintenance teams or subcontractors is a plus.
