Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Water Well Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting water well systems and associated equipment. Must have a CDL drivers license with clean driving recorded. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of water supply systems for a variety of clients, including industrial facilities, municipalities, and private properties. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water well pumps, motors, piping, and control systems using hydraulic tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Diagnose electrical issues utilizing schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics involving high voltage and low voltage systems with tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic equipment to identify root causes of failures.
- Operate machinery including scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely during field service operations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for scheduling and documentation purposes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide technical sales support, explain repair procedures, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical diagnostics, industrial electrician practices, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques including welding; familiarity with HVAC/R systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely; valid certification preferred.
- Skilled in analysis of mechanical systems using precision instruments; excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking; experience in field service operations highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills in English; customer service orientation essential.
- Background in industrial mechanic work, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, low voltage electrical systems, and high voltage safety protocols.
- Military experience or certifications related to industrial maintenance or technical trades are advantageous.
