Glazier / Glass Installer
Summary A Glazier / Glass Installer is responsible for measuring, cutting, fabricating, and installing glass and glazing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires strong technical skill, precision, and the ability to work safely with glass, tools, and installation equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Glass Installation — Install windows, doors, storefronts, shower enclosures, mirrors, and custom glass systems.
- Measurement & Layout — Take accurate measurements, read blueprints, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Glass Cutting & Fabrication — Cut, shape, and prepare glass using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery.
- Frame & Hardware Assembly — Install frames, moldings, fasteners, and sealants to secure glass safely and correctly.
- Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA and company safety standards, including proper handling of glass and equipment.
- Repair & Replacement — Diagnose damage, remove broken glass, and install replacements.
- Customer Interaction — Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills — Experience with glass cutting, glazing systems, and installation tools.
- Physical Ability — Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail — Precision in measurement, alignment, and finishing.
- Problem-Solving — Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges.
- Driver’s License — Valid license and reliable transportation.
- Preferred: Experience with commercial storefront systems, curtain walls, or similar construction field.

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
