The most successful candidates:
Have experience working in healthcare
Long-term care experience preferred
Possess a passion for working with and having impactful interaction with seniors
Are creative, compassionate, patient, and willing to go the extra mile
Have effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Have experience in long-term care or physical rehabilitative setting
Possess a positive attitude
Treat each resident with care, compassion, dignity, and respect

The responsibilities & duties:
Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability and interest
Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting
Engages individual resident in maintaining maximum daily Living Functions
Assures the safety of individual resident
Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs
