From overnight boarding and daycare services to spa-quality grooming, we’re known for treating every dog like family and delivering outstanding service to their humans. We’re now seeking a skilled and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team, part-time, and bring out the best in our four-legged guests.
What You’ll Do
As a Groomer, you’ll use your expertise to provide professional grooming services and ensure each pet looks and feels their best. You’ll work closely with dog owners to understand their requests while maintaining a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for every pup.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide full-service grooming to dogs based on breed standards and client preferences
- Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling with attention to detail
- Offer basic grooming services such as nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Monitor pets’ health and well-being throughout the grooming process
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable grooming environment
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming requests and care recommendations
- Maintain accurate grooming records for each pet
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in professional dog grooming (required)
- Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming needs and styles
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes with patience and compassion
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift dogs when necessary
- Certification in grooming or related training is a plus
