Full Time – Weekly Pay
Starting Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 Shift: 1st
*Saturday as needed/scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Set-up & operate welder by using variety of techniques in a safe manner
- Advise supervisor of faulty operations
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, or sketches to determine what needs to be done ensuring correct measurements
- Must follow quality standards to prevent rework
- Perform hourly weld tests and perform quality checks
- Ability to lift heavy pieces of metal while standing, crouching, or bending for long periods of time
- Monitor welding process and adjust heat
- Calculate and measure dimensions
- Must comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and prevents errors or safety incidents
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Must have excellent attendance
- General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working as a MIG welder is preferred & must pass a welding test
