Job Overview
We are seeking for a reliable and hardworking Sign Shop Associate to join the team. The Sign Associate is responsible for the production of high-quality signage in accordance with work orders and plan specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of basic math and geometry, and the ability to work safely in various weather conditions.
Duties
- Fabricate signs based on detailed plans and work order instructions
- Produce accurate, high-quality work with a strong focus on detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate in extreme weather
- Keep tools, machinery, and supplies properly stored and maintained
- Follow all safety procedures and report any injuries immediately
- Assist with warehouse and yard organization and cleanliness
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Professional communication with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Prior sign-making experience is a plus
- Technical proficiency in photo editing, photo manipulation, video editing, and digital art is desirable
- Driver License preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Effective teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Shift Hours - Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
