Accounting Manager will be responsible for full cycle accounting role for a portfolio of properties within the organization and will serve as the financial expert for all required analysis and reporting on the portfolio both internally and to the clients of the organization
Accounting Manager Job Duties:
· Review accounts payable and mortgage statements.
· Review the General Ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate.
· Ensure accurate revenue recognition and expense allocation.
· Review financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow).
· Manage and review the entire month- end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
· Review and execute management fees.
· Review monthly variance analysis report.
· Oversee tax compliance (sales tax, property tax)
· Review depreciation and amortization of fixed assets, tenant improvements, and leasing commissions.
· Assist property managers with all revenue questions and issues that may arise.
· Oversee the renewal of business insurance policies.
· Review 1099s
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or commercial property.
· Experience with MRI, Yardi and AvidXchange system
· Strong analytical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
