Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting in the preparation and serving of food and beverages. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students. There is room for advancement.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including cafeteria and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift to maintain service levels.
- Handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- A passion for food and students is highly desirable.
