Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Floor Supervisor to oversee daily store operations at our location in <LOCATION>. This role is vital in ensuring excellent customer service, efficient store management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong retail management skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for creating a welcoming shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store activities, including sales, stocking, and customer interactions, to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock control, merchandising, and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manage cashiering functions such as cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers accurately.
- Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed store targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Experience
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or grocery stores.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations including inventory control, POS systems, merchandising, and sales management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, budgeting, and cash handling procedures.
- Experience in employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluation.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and promotional planning is advantageous.
