Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas in accordance with safety standards
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving materials, tools, and equipment around the construction site
- Help with framing, carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roof installation
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction work
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations and procedures in a construction environment
