A Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for supporting the nursing and medical providers in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe, maintain proper hygiene, meal assistance, and assessing patients’ vital signs to notify licensed nurses of any changes.

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition promptly and accurately
Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions
Maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements

Work collaboratively with skilled nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
3. Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, working and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
