Now Hiring / Immediate Opportunity for a Kitchen Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Supervise food prep and cooking to maintain consistent quality and presentation
- Check plating, portioning, and food temperatures for accuracy and appeal
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on menu pricing, specials, and execution
- Maintain kitchen inventory, order supplies, and monitor food costs
- Ensure proper food storage, sanitation, and safety compliance at all times
- Train kitchen staff on prep work, timing, and plating standards
- Track weekly and monthly cost reports to manage labor and food expenses
- Foster a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture built on respect and accountability
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef required
- Experience in a high volume environment ($5+ million dollars in sales) is essential.
- Experience managing a team of 5 - 10+ line and prep cooks per shift
- Culinary certification or degree a plus
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Knowledge of menu planning, inventory control, and kitchen cost management
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate and support your team
