Job Description: Drywall Hanger / Finisher / Painter

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Drywall Hanger, Finisher, and Painter to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working with their hands, and can help with drywall installation, finishing, repairs, and painting.
The right person will be comfortable working on residential or commercial job sites, following directions, and working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Hang and finish drywall on walls and ceilings
- Tape, mud, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting
- Complete drywall repairs and patchwork
- Apply texture and match existing finishes when needed
- Install corner bead, trim, and basic finishing materials
- Help with painting, touch-ups, and surface preparation
- Read basic plans, layouts, or job instructions
- Work with other team members and trades on job sites
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Use tools and equipment properly and safely
- Assist with remodeling or restoration work as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with drywall hanging and finishing
- Painting experience preferred
- Ability to complete clean, quality work
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of construction or remodeling
- Ability to follow instructions and jobsite plans
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to help with related tasks when needed
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience with water damage or repair work
- Texture matching experience
- Airless paint sprayer experience
- Basic carpentry, framing, plastering, or trim experience
- Experience with remodeling, restoration, or insurance repair jobs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials and tools
- Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and working overhead
- Able to work on ladders or scaffolding when needed
- Comfortable working in active construction or repair environments
