Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating flow
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
