Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and dental health, with proficiency in dental assisting and receptionist duties.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Perform office management tasks that often require the use of practice management software like Dentrix
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Take X-rays of patients' teeth as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and operating dental equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with Dentrix software
- Proficiency in vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques in dental settings
- Understanding of infection control protocols
Experience:
- Dental assisting: 2 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 2 year (Preferred)
Language:
- Farsi, Dari or Pashto (Preferred)
