Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Scoop ice cream, make milkshakes, sundaes, etc
- Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, kitchen stations, and food handling zones through bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist with food safety procedures including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene protocols
- Support team members with food prep tasks, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, or retail environments is advantageous

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
