We are a small, family owned and operated business in Bradley Maine that delivers home heating oil, kerosene, on/off road diesel and propane. We sell wood pellets as well as propane (filling station on site) and propane tanks. We are looking for a full-time office employee with the possibility of advancement for the right person. Previous office/customer service experience is required. Good customer relations are critical as well as an understanding of computers and specifically QuickBooks (can train the right person on Quickbooks). Office staff also needs to be a liaison to the drivers, as they will have time sensitive materials, and product requests that often must be handled efficiently and promptly. The lifting requirements are 50 pounds, lift and carry. We require all employees to be trained on filling propane in our filling station, so as a requirement applicants must be over 18 years of age.
We provide a service for our community and are considered an essential business, so attendance is required in our office, on time, every day that you are scheduled, even in inclement weather.
***We do not have any remote working possibilities as we function in person Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
The right candidate will be capable of handling day to day office work and can ensure all tasks are being done correctly and accurately. The right person can follow directions, has impeccable attention to detail, excellent time management skills, ability to work well with others as well as independently with minimal direction. Again, excellent customer service skills are a must! This is a small office environment that is extremely busy at times, being well organized, working well with others, being accountable and honest are the qualities we are looking for.
$20.00 is the starting rate of pay per hour (experience is a talking point for a higher rate of pay), after a 90 day probationary period and a review is done extra benefits start.
