Join our dynamic team as a Service Team Member and become the heart of an energetic, fast-paced Central Texas inspired BBQ joint in Luther, IA; voted one of the Best Restaurants of 2026 by USA Today, and best BBQ by Food and Wine Magazine.
We are looking for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability with the option of weekday shifts for Team Members interested in full time opportunities. Our Service Team also supports our Catering operations, and will work Catering shifts when peak volume occurs. Special Events opportunities are also available for those who enjoy off-site events like BBQ festivals, Music festivals, Farmers Markets, Trade Shows, or our beloved Iowa State Fair.
Duties
- Create raving fans by providing exceptional and friendly service
- Operate POS systems such as TouchBistro and Clover to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain 5S and sanitation standards in prep areas, dining spaces, and workstations
- Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, sanitation, and bussing tables as needed
Experience / Requirements
- 3 years of serving experience in full service establishments is required. Bar knowledge, including craft beer is required.
- ServSafe or I-Pact certificate is required
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak volume
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a Continuous Improvement culture.
