Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the menu offerings
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments using POS systems, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality or restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process cash transactions efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a lively setting
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in fine dining or banquet settings is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
