About Pulo Coffee
We are a mobile specialty coffee catering company based in Los Angeles bringing elevated specialty coffee cart experiences to brand activations, corporate events, and film production sets across Southern California. We are a small team that takes our craft seriously and holds ourselves to a high standard at every event.

The role
You will work alongside our Event Lead to deliver exceptional coffee service at events across Southern California. Your shift starts when you arrive on-site and ends when breakdown is complete. Every event is a different venue, a different crowd, and a different energy. If that excites you this role is for you.
Shifts typically run 3 to 6 hours on-site. We run roughly 12 events per month. Strong performers have a clear path to grow into an Event Lead or Production Lead role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coffee Excellence: Dial in espresso before service and maintain consistent drink quality from the first shot to the last
- Latte Art: Produce clean consistent latte art on every milk drink. Tulip is our baseline standard
- Hospitality: Make every guest feel seen and celebrated not just served
- Ambassador: Show up polished professional and personable. You represent Pulo Coffee at every event
- Operational Intelligence: Review and follow our event brief and checklist for every event without exception
- Setup and Breakdown: Support the Event Lead with light setup and breakdown at the start and end of each shift
Qualifications
- Experience: Cafe experience in a fast-paced environment
- Technical Skill: Strong espresso fundamentals including independent shot dialing and milk steaming
- Latte Art: Tulip preferred, heart minimum. You can pour clean and consistent art even when it is busy
- Physical Capability: Must be able to lift and move 65+ lbs and stand for long hours
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and available on weekends. Early call times are common
- Coachability: Comfortable working within someone else's system and taking direction from an Event Lead
- Transportation: Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation ideally an SUV or larger
You must be based in the Los Angeles area. We are not able to consider applicants from Orange County, the Inland Empire, or other surrounding regions.
Nice to have
- Experience with La Marzocco equipment
- Background in mobile coffee, catering, or events
- Food handler certification
