Physical Therapy Aide
This position is for our office's Morning/Day shift Physical Therapy Aide. Shift hours are from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Fridays. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about physical therapy to fill this full-time position.

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you are the bridge between the patient and the physical therapist. Your presence allows for a smooth transition between patients and facilitates a productive and efficient flow of the clinic. We DO NOT expect you to have prior experience working, interning, or volunteering at other clinics, physical therapy or otherwise. We will train you to perform all expected duties.
The duties and responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Aide are, but not limited to, the following:
· Greeting patients at the door
· Letting PTs know when their patients have arrived and escorting them to a table or exercise machine
· Setting up and breaking down hot and cold packs, electrical stimulation, and other treatment modalities
· Keeping the gym and tables clean and tidy
· Assisting the PTs with carrying out patients’ treatment plans
Physical Therapy Aides are also expected to assist the Clinic Manager with the following:
· Answering the phones – taking messages, new patient information, and payments and scheduling patient appointments.
· Checking patients out at the front desk – taking payments and scheduling follow up appointments
· Verifying patients’ insurance benefits
· Scanning documents into patient profiles
· Creating patient packets for upcoming Initial Evaluations
