Procurement Manager
Location: San Jose CA, 95112
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and management of materials for projects nationwide. This position will play a critical role in ensuring all projects receive quality materials at the most competitive pricing while maintaining efficient inventory control and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure and source materials for projects throughout the United States.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best pricing and terms.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate a master materials list based on project requirements.
- Manage material reordering processes and inventory levels.
- Track material usage and provide reporting to support project planning and cost control.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure timely material delivery and availability.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based procurement is preferred.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel will be required, including 2–3-day trips to project locations such as:
- West Palm Beach, FL
- Dallas, TX
- New York City, NY
- San Jose, CA
- Denver, CO
- Boston, MA
