Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic nanny to provide exceptional care and support for children in a private home setting. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences.
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, reading, and developmental exercises to promote growth and learning.
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diaper changes for younger children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment through residential housekeeping tasks including cleaning up after children and tidying play areas.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and working closely with families or specialists.
- Provide personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs, appointments, or outings as needed.
- Administer first aid or CPR in case of emergencies following proper protocols.
- Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates about children's activities, health status, and developmental progress.
Experience
- Proven nanny experience working with multiple children in private home settings or daycare environments.
- Demonstrated experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler development activities.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Certified in first aid and CPR with the ability to respond swiftly during emergencies.
- Background in childcare education or teaching is preferred to support early childhood development initiatives.
- Prior experience with household chores such as cleaning and residential housekeeping is a plus.
- Strong understanding of child safety standards, nutrition guidelines, and caregiving best practices.
