Job Overview
CMA Innovative Logistics LLC is seeking reliable, energetic, and self-motivated Independent Contractors to join our fast-paced delivery network. In this role, you will independently manage your daily routes to deliver office supplies safely and efficiently. Schedule & Vehicle Requirements
- Schedule: Monday through Friday. Daily operations begin at 6:30 AM, with all deliveries wrapped up by 5:00 PM. No weekends!
- Vehicle Requirement: Drivers must own, lease, or operate a High Roof Cargo Van or a Sprinter Van.
Key Responsibilities
- Route Planning & Loading: Pick up office supplies from the local warehouse and organize your load for the most efficient delivery sequence.
- Safe Transit: Transport and unload packages carefully, ensuring all items arrive in perfect condition.
- Efficient Navigation: Navigate local routes utilizing GPS and mapping software. Routes average 40 to 50 stops and 100 to 150 miles per day.
- Customer Service: Maintain professional, proactive communication with customers regarding delivery windows and inquiries.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including collecting signatures or electronic proof of delivery.
- Team Communication: Promptly report any transit delays or delivery issues to the support coordination team.
- Safety First: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and vehicle safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a fast-paced logistics/customer service environment.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the St. Louis area and proficiency with navigation tools.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must own a hand truck or dolly (required for daily operations).
- A reliable vehicle that meets all safety standards and carries proper commercial insurance requirements.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
