Contract: 13 weeks (Higher possible extension based on performance)
Schedule: Days, Evening and Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Range: $85 - $92 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Inpatient Pharmacist to support safe and effective medication management within a hospital setting. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing, verification, and collaboration with clinical teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
- Support inpatient medication management, including IV preparation and sterile compounding as applicable
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient therapy
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Ensure compliance with New York State regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 year of Pharmacist experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
