Job Summary
We are urgently seeking caring and dependable Caregivers to join our team across daytime, mid-day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. The ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for helping others and demonstrate excellent patient observation skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing attentive support with daily activities, medication management, and companionship. All shifts are paid positions committed to delivering high-quality care in a respectful and professional environment.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs, mental alertness, and overall well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining proper food safety standards.
- Provide medication reminders
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe patient transfers.
- Document care activities accurately while respecting client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- One Year of prior experience in home health care, assisted living or nursing homes.
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Valid Car Insurance
- Reliable Transportation -We perform driving duties required for this position.
- Clear Criminal History
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and autism support is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to observe patient conditions carefully and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfers safely.
- Familiarity with care plans, medication administration procedures, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance standards.
