Job Overview:
Primoris Distribution Services (PDS) is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our Gas Operations team in the Tampa, Florida area. This position is responsible for performing high-quality welding on natural gas pipeline systems while following company procedures, project specifications, and applicable safety standards.
Responsibilities:

Perform welding on natural gas pipelines and related components.

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures.

Prepare, fit, align, and weld pipe according to project requirements.

Inspect welds and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely.

Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.

Work closely with foremen, operators, and other crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Previous pipe welding experience required.

Experience with natural gas distribution/pipeline work preferred.

Ability to pass required weld testing/qualification.

Knowledge of proper welding techniques and safety procedures.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.

Valid driver's license preferred.

Must be able to pass applicable pre-employment requirements.
