Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a range of skills in veterinary medicine.
Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in medical, surgical, and dental procedures
- Perform laboratory tests
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
- Provide animal care
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatment
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in animal catheterization, anesthesia and surgical preparation
- Able to facilitate surgical flow independently
- Familiarity with veterinary practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
The position listed is Tuesday-Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and be responsible for closing duties.
