Defender Services is seeking FULL and PART TIME COMMERCIAL CLEANERS/HOUSKEEPERS to work at a historical attraction in MOUNT PLEASANT, SC.
Available Shifts:
Full Time-Wed to Sun 2PM to 10PM
Part Time-Saturday and Sunday 7AM to 3PM and 2PM to 10PM
Duties:
- Serve as an ambassador for Defender Services
- Deep clean and supply designated facility areas including restrooms, offices, breakrooms, areas on the tour route and public gathering areas
- Sweep and mop floors in common areas and restrooms
- Vacuum carpets
- Restock supplies
- Clean glass windows and plexiglass as needed
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Pulling trash and making designated trash runs to the assigned dumpster area
- Clean up spills and other hazards
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, walk, sit, bend, and kneel during the entire shift
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Ability to climb stairs for the entire shift
- Ability to work in heat, cold, rain and sunshine
- Some knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Treat all team members with respect and dignity
- Display integrity
- Reliable transportation to work
- Adherence to all health and safety regulations
- Willingness to wear all required PPE
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds during the entire shift
