We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated Rehab team at Aspire Senior Living Roaring River in Cassville, MO. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing individualized therapy services to promote independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
As a member of our Rehab team, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will be responsible for planning and administering treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing. Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will ensure that all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care and provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers. Additionally, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will monitor patient response to treatment interventions, complete required forms and documentation, and work collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
- Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
- Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
- Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Requirements:
- Must have a valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing in Missouri
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Proven work experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
