Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and energetic Full-Time Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team and deliver an exceptional morning experience for our guests. This is a full-time position working a Monday through Friday schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up the daily breakfast buffet, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, and delivering warm, attentive guest service. Additionally, you will oversee weekly inventory duties, including receiving, unboxing, and putting away the weekly food delivery order while adhering to strict food safety and stock rotation standards.
Responsibilities
- Daily Operations & Guest Service:
- Prepare, cook, and set up daily breakfast items, ensuring high presentation and quality standards.
- Welcome guests warmly, assist with dietary requests, and ensure a pleasant morning dining experience.
- Monitor food and beverage levels on the buffet line continuously, restocking items promptly to avoid long wait times.
- Receiving & Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and sign off on the weekly food and supply delivery order.
- Transport, unload, and store all order items promptly in appropriate storage rooms, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
- Practice First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure food freshness.
- Track inventory levels and assist management with drafting upcoming supply lists and food orders.
- Cleanliness & Sanitation:
- Clear and wipe down dining tables, counters, and food stations regularly throughout the service window.
- Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, serving utensils, dishes, and coffee machines daily.
- Maintain clean, organized food storage, pantry, and stockroom areas according to local health regulations.
- Dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste properly at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Schedule & Availability:
- Available to work full-time Monday through Friday, starting early morning at 6:00 AM.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in food service, guest service, or hotel hospitality is preferred, but willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Basic experience with inventory management, receiving orders, or stockroom work is a plus.
- Skills & Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry delivery boxes and stock weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move continuously for extended periods during early morning shifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with food safety and inventory rotation.
- Friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Certifications:
- Local Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
