We are a growing U.S. manufacturer specializing in high-performance RF power amplifiers and custom RF solutions. We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Specialist to support our engineering-driven manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to support procurement activities for our RF power amplifier manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, tracking deliveries, and working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure materials are available to support on-time customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Source electronic components, RF parts, mechanical components, sheet metal, machine parts, cables, hardware, and manufacturing supplies.
- Request and evaluate supplier quotations (RFQs).
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and open orders.
- Expedite critical materials to support production schedules.
- Collaborate with Engineering regarding BOM releases, component selection, and engineering changes.
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Production to resolve material shortages.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP data.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support supplier qualification and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with inventory planning and shortage management.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Bill of Materials is a must.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Training & Growth
Training will be provided on our products, suppliers, ERP system, and purchasing processes. No prior RF industry experience is required. Pay: $60,000.00 per year
