Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery & Warehouse Associate to assist with furniture staging and warehouse operations. This hands-on position works alongside a lead team member to load and unload delivery trucks, transport furniture and staging materials, and assist with setting up and removing items from model homes and senior living units.
No previous experience is required. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to safely perform physical work. During slower delivery periods, this position will assist in the warehouse with furniture assembly and preparing orders for upcoming deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead team member with loading and unloading furniture, décor, and staging materials.
- Help deliver and remove staging items from model homes and senior living units.
- Safely move furniture and other materials while protecting products and customer property.
- Organize and secure items in delivery vehicles for safe transportation.
- Assist with furniture assembly during slower delivery periods.
- Prepare and organize orders in the warehouse for upcoming deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment.
- Professionally interact with customers, owners, and other individuals at job sites.
- Use good judgment and problem-solving skills when handling delivery or staging challenges.
- Operate a small company truck as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions.
- Assist with additional warehouse, delivery, and staging responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively alongside a lead team member and other employees.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing job-site needs.
- Professional and respectful when working around customers and property owners.
- Ability to follow instructions and safely handle furniture and staging materials.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, turning, twisting, and reaching.
- Work takes place in warehouses, delivery vehicles, model homes, senior living facilities, and other customer locations.
- Regular loading and unloading of furniture and staging materials.
- Must be able to safely perform physical duties while protecting furniture and customer property.
- Local travel to staging and delivery locations is required.
