Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization for incoming guests
- Buss tables promptly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining a tidy dining area
- Assist with food service by delivering dishes from the kitchen to tables following proper food safety protocols
- Support with cleaning duties, including sanitation of surfaces, utensils, and dining areas to uphold health standards
- Handle manual lifting of trays, chairs, and supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Assist with table setting and presentation to enhance the overall dining atmosphere
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety standards, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and sustained physical activity throughout shifts
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new team members
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles will help you excel in this role
