Hawaiian Style Activities is seeking a pool deck attendant to ensure the pool deck area at Hilton Kaanapali Beach Resort is maintained in an orderly manner throughout the day and assist with resort beach equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Organize pool deck chairs/furniture/umbrellas
- Collect and hand out towels to guests
- Take towel carts to and from laundry
- Enforce pool deck area rules
- Set up poolside gazebos and cabanas
- Maintain work area and beach gear in clean and orderly manner
- Support poolside sales staff
Hours: 7:5am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch), 2-3 days per week available
Compensation: $20 per hourly plus commission. Paid time off and health care benefits dependent on number of days worked. 401k after 90 days. Other perks.
Strong candidates possess the following attributes:
- Greet and assist guest in a pleasant and helpful manner
- Able and willing to ask guests to follow specific rules in a professional and pleasant manner
- Regularly and reliably report to work on time
- Good physical condition and endurance for long periods of standing
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Able to work in hot and humid conditions in the sun
- Project a professional company image and attitude
- Fluency in English (speak, read, write)
Obtain CPR certification following hire
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
