Are you a licensed mental health therapist passionate about creating a calm, nonjudgmental environment to help clients feel safe working on their individualized treatment goals? New Jersey Mental Health Healing is a small private practice looking to hire a compassionate and reliable part time, fee for service therapist to join the team.
Responsibilities:
· Provide individual comprehensive assessments, including facilitating biopsychosocial evaluations and providing diagnoses to individuals with mental health disorders
· Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment modalities
· Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
· Coordinate care with other providers and community resources to support treatment needs
· Maintain timely and accurate HIPAA compliant clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and practice policies
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Minimum of two years of experience working with adults with mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Experience treating trauma a plus. Experience working with adolescents a plus. Experience working with couples a plus.
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey LCSW, LPC, or LSW. LSW candidates must be on the LCSW track, with supervision available through NJMHH
- Demonstrated cultural competence, ethical practice, and commitment to client-centered care
- Candidate must be comfortable working within an out-of-network, self-pay practice model. Therapists must not be credentialed or paneled with insurance companies while working at New Jersey Mental Health Healing.
- Availability to work in person at office located in Woodstown, NJ
- Seeking candidate with availability to work a minimum of 2 evenings per week
