Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled foods according to our recipes and standards, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items on the grill to order, ensuring proper portioning, seasoning, and presentation.
- Maintain quality and consistency of all grilled dishes.
- Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including marinating, chopping, and seasoning meats and vegetables.
- Keep the grill station clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of food.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Knowledge of grilling techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 Lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
